PolyUnwana Strike to be called off in days as ASUP and Management finally reach an agreement (Photos)

Hope has been raised as the protracted ASUP Unwana strike that has lingered for over 1 month will soon come to an end.

Campusnewsng.com has obtained exclusive photos of the Rector and the ASUP chairman signing the MoA, which is a document that compels the management to start paying up the PAA of the staff as from this month, September, 2019 as at when due and also pay two months backlog every month till the arrears of 23 months are paid off.

Recall that ASUP unwana embarked on an indefinite strike on the first of August, 2019 over unpaid allowances of 27 months and since then, the management has paid off that of 5 months.

The signing of this MoA by the two parties involved means that ASUP may call off the strike in days as their request were duly captured in the document.
