6 Things That Annoy A Typical University of Ibadan Student

Students of The prestigious University of Ibadan, you know what? You all deserve to be commended please!
The University of Ibadan has a great reputation, but only students are aware of the annoying things they have to face all because they are students of the prestigious institution.
Truly, there’s a long list, but below are 6 things that annoy a typical University of Ibadan student.
EARLY MORNING CLASSES/EVENING CLASSES.
No one in the University of Ibadan can deny how annoying the 7-7 routine is. Well, for those that do not know, “the 7-7 routine” is a common phrase in UI and it means having classes from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening, with just a few breaks in between. Could you imagine how stressful that is? No! Unless you experience this “very annoying” routine yourself.
Having to wake up really early in the morning just to ensure that you attend a class fixed at 7 is such a pain, not to talk of having to attend a class in the evening after a stressful and long day.
STAYING AT THE TOPMOST FLOOR IN THE HALLS OF RESIDENCE.
You see the kind of annoyance that comes with staying on the topmost floor of any hall of residence in the University of Ibadan is out of the world. As a matter of fact, it is annoyance raised to the power of two.
The unwanted pain that comes with climbing the stairs up and down when you simply need to grab something is intense, let’s not even talk about fetching water from the “tap area” to your room on the topmost floor and breathing like someone who got chased by a pitbull.
By the way, God would judge.
KEEPING UP WITH THE PRESSURES THAT COME WITH BEING A STUDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN.
You know what comes with attending the first and best university in the country? Pressure, immense pressure.
Having to keep up to the university’s standard is one thing that can really annoy you, especially when you have the feeling that you’re not doing enough.
Passing is a must, there is no place for failure and you can’t cheat or you are in big, irrevocable trouble.
Now you know why University of Ibadan students don’t know more than books, so anywhere you see a student of this prestigious Institution, just take them out and spoil them silly with love.
IMPROMPTU TESTS (A.K.A. TEAR A SHEET OF PAPER).
University of Ibadan lecturers are experts in shocking you anytime and one of the best ways they do this is by saying the magic words, “tear a sheet of paper”.
To be honest, such moments are usually very annoying and not funny for students.
If you have ever experienced the dread that comes with hearing “Tear a sheet of paper” in the University of Ibadan, then you are definitely a fierce warrior.
BEING UNABLE TO CHARGE YOUR COMMUNICATION GADGETS.
This kind of annoyance has been experienced in one way or another by almost everyone and it is indeed a painful kind of annoyance.
As a University of Ibadan student, that moment when there has been no electricity supply for a while, and you haven’t been able to charge your phones and laptops deserves one minute of silence or even hot tears.
Can you imagine how much worse it would be if you are one of those students that love to read materials on their phones and your phone is off during the exam period? You would just be unbelievably annoyed, sad and tired at the same time. As a matter of fact, you can do almost anything in exchange for charging your devices.
ASSIGNMENTS.
Let’s burst your bubble a bit, shall we? In the University of Ibadan, you would do assignments like you are being punished for committing an unknown offense.
Yes, you cannot be a lazy student in UI. It’s annoying, right? Definitely, but you signed up for it, remember?
Although there’s a relatable fun and honour to be a University of Ibadan student, most times it is just episode after episode of pure hell.
