1. People think you’re proud because you’re answering all the hard questions in class, making them look like unserious students.
2. When others are struggling to answer question 1a in the exam hall, but you’ve answered everything and already asking for extra sheet.
The others console themselves by saying ‘no be by extra sheet o.’
3. When everyone becomes extra friendly hours to that tough exam and even buy you lunch just to follow who know road. They will fight to be your seat-mate and when invigilator changes their seat, their end has come.
4. When the guy beside you in the exam hall is almost crying and begging for answers but you’re team ‘No malpractice.’
5. That moment after exams when everyone is coming to vet their answers from you. Little did they know that you are also praying to God to intervene in your situation because you didn’t know what you just wrote. In your mind, you’ll be like: I don’t know who told these ones that we wrote the marking scheme.
6. When your lecturer calls out test scores and you score 2/20. The rest class be like ‘If Godfrey is scoring 2, then who are we to pass, Comrade? Who are we?’
7. When others copy your assignment verbatim expecting to score 10/10 like you but e shock them. They score 4/10 and start shouting ojoro.
8. When results are released and the whole class is more interested in whether your CGPA has reduced than they are in their own results. They will say: Abeg, check if Destiny still dey first class, I sure say she go drop.
9. The bad belles that always carry calculator to calculate your results to see if your high CGPA is ojoro. Once they notice any discrepancy, they head straight to the HOD. They will be like: Sir, Godfrey is supposed to be on 4.53 but I’m seeing 4.531 on the result. Kindly investigate so it doesn’t stain the pristine reputation of this great institution.
10. Nobody believes you when you tell them you’ve not read a course. They’ll be like ‘Na so e dey always talk, give am exam now e go blast.’
