[OAU] – Chaos in Obafemi Awolowo University Due to the Recent VC Elections
Prof. Rufus Adedoyin wrote a petition against the Governing Council as a result of the recently completed VC elections in OAU. Amidst this, other events that have rocked OAU as a result of the election includes the protest by Ife indigenes against the selection of Bamire as VC – a protest which started on Thursday, March 17, 2020, and has not lacked drama at all since then, including the use of fetishism.
The protesters who have since last Thursday gained more and more momentum believes that an Ife indigene should emerge as the VC. Does this story look familiar to you (a UIte I guess)?

[UNBIEN] – About 2 Weeks Ago, Sadly, A UNIBEN Student Died From Gunshot
Susan Oboh a Final Year Pharmacy student was shot by suspected armed robbers while escorting her friend at Osasogie which is close to the university’s gate. Save the ongoing ASUU strike, Susan should graduate in April 2022. Read more here.
UNIBEN Temporarily Closes University
Just as the University of Ibadan notified students recently to vacate the halls of residence as a result of the ongoing ASUU strike, other schools, including UNIBEN had done likewise. Read more here.
[ABU ZARIA] – ABU Student Proposes to Girlfriend Amidst the Ongoing NUGA Competition
The ongoing Nigerian University Games have not lacked fun at all, including the ‘dragging’ the University of Ibadan got yesterday on social media after a dramatic 1 : 0 loss to UNILAG yesterday.
