Some Academic Facts About Davido
For the records, Davido is technically American by place of birth.
Born in Atlanta Georgia, aged 29, the fifth born and second son of Adeleke, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido or OBO is a Nigerian artist.
Though he was born in the US in 1992, he had a large part of his education in Nigeria.
He attended the British International School, Lagos, Nigeria.

His university education started in Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama where his interest in music began in his late teenage years, and he started making his beats and investigating music production.

He dropped out of Oakwood University in 2010 and began pursuing music full-time, relocating to Lagos, Nigeria, and releasing his debut single, “Back When,” in 2011.
After stardom, he returned to Nigeria to forward his education as advised by his father. He paused his music career and agreed to honour his father by enrolling at Babcock University where his mother lectured before her death in 2008.

His father paid about 200 million to have the Department of Music created so Davido could school there
He’s the first student of Babcock’s Department of Music and he graduated In July 2015.
