PRICES OF COMMODITIES, TRANSPORTATION ON CAMPUS AND OPENING OF LLTS FOR NIGHT READING

Maximum Price list of Essential Commodities in the Halls

We are aware of the price increase on commodities in the country today, also we must note the incessant price hike on prices of commodities and services being offered on our campuses.

To curtail all these excesses, no cafeteria is expected to charge above the following:

📍A spoon of rice #50
📍Egg #70
📍Sachet water 2 for #25/ 4 for #50
📍Cow Meat #50
📍Bag of sachet water #200
📍Fish #50
📍Plantain #10
📍Cococola products excluding pet coke #150
📍Table water #90
📍Uncooked egg #50
📍Swallow #50
📍Printing and photocopy #10

Other commodities will be updated soon. Kindly report any defaulting vendors to the Union officials.

Defaulters shop space shall be locked up indefinitely.

TRANSPORTATION
We are also aware of the COVID-19 measures in place, however, there are some cases, to this effect, kindly note the prices below;

Please kindly take note that when a Maruwa takes 2 Passengers, price is N50 and N30 when they take 3 passengers. Drop is 100 (this includes Awo and Vet)

TRICYCLE (MARUWA PRICE)
📍2 passengers ( #50 Each)
📍3 passengers (#30 each)
📍 Drop (1 or 2) {#100}

First Person on the queue determines the location of a Maruwa.

When a Cab takes three (3) Passengers, price is N50 and N30 when they take four (4) passengers. Drop is 150 (this includes Awo and Vet)

CAB PRICE
📍3 Passengers (#50 each)
📍4 passengers (#30 each)

When a bus takes 3 Passengers per seat, price is N50 and N30 when they take 4 passengers per seat.

BUS PRICE
📍 3 passengers on a seat (#50 each)
📍4 passengers on a seat (#30 each)

Please kindly report the tag numbers on the windscreen of defaulting operators.

You can also call when the process of default is going on.

Kindly report defaulters to the UISU Executives

Opening of LLTs for Night Reading

Finally, on the opening of Large lecture theatres for over night reading, the school management has approved the Union’s request to open all LLTs to allow our students study. However, we will be waiting for all faculties to effect this as soon as possible.

  1. Regarding this what is the number to call for immediate response.
    I don’t know if there is a committee to monitor these developments. However, if there is not, I feel there should be especially regarding the transport section, as drivers could tend to be disobedient, and may decide not to carry passengers who challenge them on the right price.
