UI Senate Postpones Meeting Expected To Hold Today Till Further Notice; Hopes of Physical Resumption In Limbo

The Senate committee of the University of Ibadan that was expected to sit today did not, thereby putting hopes of a physical resumption in limbo.

The university community hoped the senate will sit today and deliberate on an array of issues including the date for Physical Resumption and the price for hostel accommodation amongst others.

That the senate meeting will hold today was confirmed by Deputy Dean of Students Affairs, Dr Demola Lewis  while he was present to address the Congress of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union on Monday 24 June, 2021.

However, the university is yet to make any official statement as to why the meeting was postponed and the rescheduled date.
