Abduction of Odetunde Ayodeji Emmanuel

The news about the abduction of one of our student from the faculty of Social Sciences, Odetunde Ayodeji Emmanuel popularly known as “Emmay” reached us in the late hours of Monday 21st February, 2021. Odetunde Emmanuel was said to have abducted by unknown gunmen from his father’s farmland around Oke Odan area, Apete, Ibadan.

The Union have been in contacts with the family members and also paid a visit to his home at Apete in Ibadan. Also, we paid a visit to the commissioner of Police of OYO state alongside the Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the OYO State Governor.

We hope that soon, Odetunde Emmanuel will return home safely as efforts are being made to secure his release by the family and security operatives in the state.

Let us continue to make awareness about the abduction on social media to keep tabs on security operatives.
