*VIRTUAL RESUMPTION; WE WELCOME FRESH AND STALE STUDENTS*

Warm greetings to you all.
We want to use this medium to specially welcome the fresh students to the best university in West Africa. Consider yourself the best among the rest because securing admission to the first and best University in the country is not an easy task. On this note, we congratulate you once again.

As the first semester lectures will be delivered online, we want to urge all students to get ready to adapt to the new norm, it’s a development we all have to embrace for the continuation of studies at this very point in time. We understand that it might not be easy but we can all adapt to the change as this is also preparing us to fully welcome and embrace the 21st Century teaching model.

To freshmen, it should be noted that all forms of registration will be done virtually and help desk will be made available to every department in case you have any issue in accessing your learning management portal.

Furthermore, the Students’ Union freshers’ week for this year will also be virtual as plans are ongoing to ensure we have freshmen fully prepared and have an insight of how the University system works from the students perspective, the orientation programme will surely afford you the opportunity of  *“all you need to know about the university”*

To our dear stale students and finalists, we welcome you all to this inevitable change at this point in time, we have always been able to adapt to any form of momentum at the University, we hope we adapt quickly to this too.

Welcome to the new session 2020/2021, we wish you all the best.
