The Students’ Union of the University of Ibadan will be holding a press conference alongside the presidents of other university Student Unions to discuss pressing issues including the protracted ASUU strike, resumption and others.
The event is slated to hold in the University of Ibadan at the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) chambers in SUB on Thursday, 12th November, 2020 at around 9AM.
Student Union presidents of various schools mainly in the Southwest, like, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Olabisi Onobanjo University (OOU), Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), and a couple other universities will be present.
Speaking with the president of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union yesterday, he uses this medium to invite media houses, both main stream and student’s media, to the program slated to hold tomorrow.
Updates on the program will be communicated live to students via Campus News media and other media bodies present.
It should also be noted that press men are specifically invited to the program and not everyone out there. Also proper COVID-19 regulations as in wearing of fact masks and hand sanitization should be duly observed by attendants.
