Management is aware of the very hostile environment created by the unusually extreme activities featured in the ongoing industrial action of SSANU and NASU. This is highly regrettable and I sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience and discomfort. You are most appreciated for your kind understanding and patience. These are not taken for granted.
In spite of the unsatisfactory atmosphere, I whole heartedly thank you for your sacrifices, commitment and diligence in ensuring that the 2018/2019 Second Semester Examinations were concluded successfully; duties were performed by the Deans, Heads of Departments and all the academic staff. Moreover, we secured your cooperation. This is highly commendable and a clear testimony to your usual commitment to the growth of the university.
Please be assured that Management is taking necessary steps to ensure that normalcy returns to our campus as soon as possible and that we do not have to work under such an extreme condition ever again. Details of step taken will be provided in due course.
Once again, I thank you all most sincerely for your kind understanding and patience.

From the desk of some students after opinion polls:
Some feel the management did well to drop this official letter; others feel UItes in the past would naturally not write the exams they just did write due to the harsh conditions with light and heat; others are grateful they are graduating without hindrance.
Mixed feelings in the hearts of UItes, but most paramountly, we are doing well, management and Students alike.
